FOR NEARLY 180 YEARS
the people of this church have been bound by love…
of God and each other. Countless families and individuals have joined Germantown Presbyterian Church over the years—all yearning for spiritual community and connection. “We’ve finally found our church home,” the young woman told our pastor recently, grateful her family’s search was over.
The people of this church have been bound by love of God and love for each other. They have turned to this church family in times of immense joy and crushing grief. “We couldn’t have weathered this tragedy,” a longtime member confided, “without this group of believers walking beside us, holding us up.”
We have been a church home for generations, beginning with a handful of believers in 1838 and growing into a large community of Christians today. And the space where we worship, learn and gather has likewise expanded over the years, thanks to insightful leaders who built for the future. Today we are called to enlarge our church home again with facilities that help—not hinder—our mission, witness and worship.
