COME AS YOU ARE


for fellowship, prayer, and study

 

Eat, Pray, Read is a study group for those interested in expanding their faith and spiritual growth through Christian books and Bible study. This woman’s group meets on the second Monday of the month in the church parlor unless otherwise specified.

Participants take turns leading the monthly time of discussion, prayer, food, and fellowship. Each person is responsible for purchasing her own book and reading it before the day of discussion.

Everyone is invited! Come for one, come for some, come for all!

Below is the schedule for 2019-20.

 
 
    1. Monday, Sept. 9, *** meet at 10am instead of 9:30am, followed by lunch to celebrate the beginning of Book Club year AND birthdays

    2. Monday, Oct. 14, 9:30am coffee, 10am discussion

    4. Monday, Dec. 9, 10am coffee & discussion
      The Rock, The Road and The Rabbi by Kathy Lee Gifford, facilitator:Sylvia Foster
    5. Monday, Jan. 13, movie at Mary Rogers (4pm movie, followed by dinner and wine – everyone bring a dish)
    6. Monday, Feb. 10, 10am coffee & discussion
      Bold and Broken by David and Jason  Benham, facilitator:TBA
    7. Monday, Mar. 9, 10am coffee & discussion
      The Case for Easter by Lee Strobel, facilitator:Barb Poier
 
 

MEETING TIME

The meetings are the second Monday of each month in the church parlor beginning with snack/fellowship and prayer/book discussion from 10am to 11:30am The group meets September through March, except for January which is the annual movie night.
