NEW TO GPC
Welcome to Germantown Presbyterian Church a place to worship, a place to learn, and a place to grow.
Germantown Presbyterian Church is a community of faith that worships through scripture, prayer, music, and fellowship. Christian education is vital to children, youth, and adults of all ages. Church groups, small and large, build faith and relationships in the congregation.
You are welcome here!
Sunday morning worship services are at 8:30am and 11:00am in the sanctuary and Sunday evening is at 5:00pm in Evans Chapel. We livestream the 11:00am service here and on our Facebook page here. Sunday School begins at 9:45am.
We welcome attendance in the sanctuary for onsite worship. Following worship, classes for special needs, families, children, youth, and adults are also offered.

Germantown Presbyterian Church is excited about what it offers to the Mid-South community and our church body while serving Christ.
GUEST INFORMATION
What should I wear?
God is much more concerned with a person’s heart than their clothes but people often ask, “What should I wear?”
At GPC you will find men in polo shirts and slacks, business casual attire, ties and sport coats or suits. You will see women in a variety of dress: slacks, dresses, suits.
When are the services?
Worship hours are 8:30am and 11:00am for morning worship, 9:40am for Sunday School, 5:00pm for Sunday evening worship.
Childcare is available during worship and Sunday School classes. Read more about it here.
When should I arrive?
We suggest arriving 10 minutes before the service begins if you are not bringing children with you, or 20 minutes early if you are bringing children.
Be sure to look for our Guest and Special Needs Parking, located on the Arthur Road side of the Sanctuary as well as on the Germantown Road side near the signs for “Church Office” and “Sanctuary.”
When you arrive, look for the greeters who are stationed near entrances. If greeters are not readily available, please ask any church member for help!
Where do I take my children?
If you are bringing children to the nursery, the entrance on the south side of the building is the most convenient. This entrance is identified by signs which say “Germantown Presbyterian Preschool.” This area is most easily accessed by the Germantown Road entrance but can be reached by the Arthur Road and Poplar Pike entrances, also. There is a large covered entryway or portico (watch out, it’s one-way!) at the entrance to the preschool. After you enter through the glass doors and follow the hallway, you will be at the nursery.
This same hallway will lead you to the Sunday School rooms for grades K-5th. Read more about our children’s ministry here!
You can read more about childcare here.
What should I do when my children are in Sunday School?
We would love to have you at any of our adult education classes. You may join a class at any point in the semester. The classes offer a wonderful way to meet members and other guests while you engage in meaningful Bible study and deepen your walk with God. Find out more about adult education here!
Is there handicapped parking?
Handicapped parking is available at the entrances marked “Sanctuary” on Arthur Road. There is also handicapped parking on the Germantown Road side of the building and near the Germantown Presbyterian Preschool entrance.
Special Needs Care
Extended care for individuals of all ages with exceptional needs is available during the worship hour as an offering of our special needs ministry. Sunday School for children and adults with special needs is offered from 9:40am – 10:30am.
